I really like Rob and Robyn. I had a great time photographing there engagement session a few months ago - although we did stay out too late enjoying beer post shoot. The colors Robyn picked were prefect to accent the wedding. They really popped. It was also fun to see the bridesmaids in different dresses in complementing shades. The bouquets/bouts were unlike any I’d seen before. One of her friends put them together for her and they featured small succulents. Very cool.  And the food was so yummy. Not that I had much time to eat, but Primizie is one of my favorite caters in town. Mmmm. The back story on the mustang is that Rob has been working on it since highschool and it is finally “done”. Great wedding! Thanks you two.

I really enjoyed photographing this wedding. However, I have to admit it was HOT. Rumor has it the temperture got over 100 degrees.  We had to work very quickly to get through all of the formals and I had a hard time focusing. Something about being in the heat makes it hard to think. Enough complaining… Angie did an amazing job pulling everything together for her wedding. I loved the flowers - peionies are one of my favorites - and the setting was wonderful. Overall, a great day.

I looked forward to this weddings for weeks. I had never worked at the Allan House and I love getting to take pictuers at new venues. Melissa and Gabriel were so easy going and happy!  I loved the floral arrangements and I was delighted to get to take one of them home with me. Summer is definately here.

Another lovely summer day to celebrate the marriage of two freshly minted JD’s. I really loved Regan’s dress and the opulant orchids that decorated the event. The stack of law books groom cake was also a hoot! I hope these two young lawyers have a long and happy life together.

Rarely do I see such a happy group of people at a wedding. Guests danced late into the night enjoying yummy Tex-Mex and enjoying Ritas. This was my first wedding at the MACC. Talk about an amazing venue! In addition to being very large and conveniently located it is also a great deal. Thank you Linda and Thomas! I REALLY enjoyed your wedding.

Hannah and Scott got married on the one year anniversry of when Scott and I got engaged. This has to be my favorite backyard wedding this year. Hannah and family could not have been any nicer. The amount of hospitality we recieved was far and away more than we could have ever expected. I’m thankful we didn’t get rained out!

I really enjoyed working with Carmen and her family. This was my first Thursday wedding and it was AWESOME! The officiant, Larry Todd, also officiated at my wedding. It was great getting to chat with him pre-wedding. I have to admit I was AMAZED that most of the guests stayed until almost for the entire wedding - I thought Thursday would put a hitch in the fun … but it didn’t. Carmen’s dress was very cool and so unique. Great wedding.

This was my first wedding to photograph at the new Hyatt Lost Pines resort. The venue was much more difficult to work at that I’d expected. The getting ready area was very far from the ceremony which was acres away from the reception. I’m so used to being able to wonder freely between all of the spaces and the great distances left me feeling like I didn’t get to spend enough time anywhere. It was also a huge bummer that the weather did not cooperate. The ceremony - which was going to overlook the lake - go relocated to an indoor space. At least the reception was still outside in a covered pavilion. For my next wedding at Hyatt I’m going to rent a golf cart.

Michelle’s wedding was AMAZING! BLACK, WHITE and PINK! Love it. The puppy factor also put a big smile on my face. I held my breath for a week before this wedding. Michelle was so worried she buried a bottle of brandy and it worked!  It kept looking like it would rain and then… the sun came out and it was perfect!

A huge thank you to Suzi Q for sending Holly my way! The first time I got to meet Holly was on her wedding day, and I knew from the start she was my kind of girl. Her wedding was filled with tons of thoughtful details and goodies from Etsy. I was especially fond of her table numbering system which was based on jars of colorful items like Crayons and Buttons. Very clever! I also loved the cats (Femo replicas of the brides felines) that graced the grooms cake.
